The Greystanes Centre colours are Navy Blue and Fluoro Orange. It would be expected that most athletes should wear the uniform on Saturday particularly under 7’s and up.
The wearing of centre uniform is not compulsory on Saturday mornings but it is necessary for athletes to have their registration numbers, at least pinned to their t-shirt/singlet, so event times and distances for individual athletes can be recorded with minimal confusion. However, centre uniform is compulsory when representing the Centre at Zone, Regional or State Championships, State Relays or carnivals held by other clubs.
The Uniform requirements when representing the club are:
Fluoro orange singlet with navy blue stripes down each side and navy blue shorts (bike pants and running shorts)
Fluoro orange singlet or a fluoro orange crop top also with navy blue stripes down each side and navy blue shorts (bike pants and running shorts)
If you wish to wear bike pants the colour acceptable will be navy blue for competition days (excluding our own competition).
All athletes must wear closed shoes when competing in all events. Spiked shoes may be worn by U/11's and over, in events run in lanes and jumping events only. Spikes must be put on at the commencement of the event and removed straight after the event is completed. If you are using spikes the maximum length for running on grass or synthetic tracks are 7mm for single laned events, 9mm for field jumping/javelin events on synthetic tracks and on a grass track 12mm for jumping/javelin events. If you use a shoe that takes spikes the spikes are to be attached to that shoe. No football boots should be worn.
